The Billing Services Analyst will be responsible for activities related to merchant billing operations. The individual will be responsible to ensure that merchants are billed correctly. You will correspond with internal and external clients, prepare invoices and billing files, and oversee the company's revenue intake. We are looking for a proactive individual who is quality driven in their approach. This role will work closely with other stakeholders and will have a high merchant impact. You will assist in the preparation of reports and analyzing financial information to identify revenue opportunities and gaps, including daily performance reporting.

Essential Duties:
Analyzing all billing procedures and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Reviewing billing items and reporting to ensure billing accuracy.
Review expense reports to identify gaps.
Preparing reconciliation reports and meeting billing deadlines
Communicating with clients and other departments, resolving issues, and providing clarifications as needed.
Ensuring merchants' billing accounts are set up correctly and according to their requirements.
Ability to escalate issues to line managers for rectification / clarification. Key interface between finance and operational departments.
Collaborate with accounting personnel in the production of effective, timely financial reporting information.
Assist in meeting external and internal reporting deadlines while maintaining the integrity of information.
Participate in projects designed to improve organizational effectiveness.
Liaise with internal and external parties in relation to audit and tax requirements and deliverables.

Your Profile:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience as a billing analyst or in a similar role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, data entry, and accounting software programs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize.
