ROLE OVERVIEW:
As a CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT SPECIALIST at Melexis, you will perform various activities regarding the improvements in the Manufacturing area in terms of capacity, lead time, performance, cost and quality. You’ll contribute to achieve our team(local) and our OPS(global) KPIs.

More specifically, you will:

Analyse and solve systematic manufacturing issues in order to improve the production processes;
Support installation of equipment or transfer of products from other Melexis sites;
Define and maintain the OCAP for products failure solving and train manufacturing personnel in order to reduce the downtime of equipment;
Support local deployment of corrective actions across all manufacturing sites;
Drive and Participate in Production improvement projects, which could be focused on performance, quality, lead time, 5S, Daily management etc.

WHAT MAKES YOU SUCCESFULL IN THIS ROLE?
Bachelor's degree with a technical focus (in electronics, automatics orsimilar);
More than 1-year experience with manufacturing processes;
Knowledge and usage of Lean tools is a strong advantage;
Problem-solving thinking;
Analytical mindset and interest to deal with statistical data
Strong customer- and result- orientation; willingness to support internal andexternal customer needs
Interest and knowledge in project management techniques is an advantage
Good communication skills
Fluent in English ( both written and verbal )
