The Role:

The Payments Officer is responsible for maintaining first level checks, reviews and processing of payments to stakeholders. The Payments Officer works in direct contact with all members of European Depositary Bank Luxembourg staff and in close co-operation with the other offices of the company. The Payments Officer must ensure adherence to Apex/EDB procedures in addition to both internal and Regulatory AML requirements at all times.

Key duties and responsibilities

Payment processing for the European Depositary Bank Luxembourg;
Understand International Payment Structures
Booking of Payment related fees;
Know the cut off for each currencies utilized;
Participating in the day to day activities in line with internal and external SLA timeframes;
Ability to identify opportunities for process improvements;
Participation in ad hoc projects in addition to day to day duties;
Working as part of a larger global team in the case of out sourced activities;
Determine priority in payments;
Contact European Depositary Bank Luxembourg persons for payment related questions and issues;
Keep register of the prepared and executed payments;
Filing and archiving all payments;
