Our partner is a provider of Accounting & Management Consultancy services to real estate and private equity funds and companies. Currently, we are looking for a motivated professional to join their international team on the position
MANAGER ACCOUNTING AND FINANCIAL REPORTING
Main Responsibilities:
Prepare/review financial statements, management reports, budgets and cash flow projection;
Work with corporate tax advisors and lawyers for the local compliance process;
Ensure compliance with client reporting requirements;
Gain knowledge under various reporting frameworks – IFRS, US GAAP, INREV and Luxembourg GAAP;
Get the chance to be very involved in the transaction process during acquisitions /disposals done by our clients;
Review the work of other service providers (property and asset managers) and follow up with them;
Coach and guide the junior staff relative to their position and review their workpapers;
Coordinate and follow up client meetings and deliverables;
Work with auditors to ensure smooth audit process;
Assist in the coordination of new business and products implementations.
Requirements:
5-7 years of experience in accounting or audit;
Previous experience in Big 4 or an international financial service provider is a serious advantage;
University degree in the fields of accounting, finance, business, economics or a related field;
Very good knowledge of IFRS;
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
Strong analytical mindset and logical thinking;
Ability to demonstrate initiative and transfer knowledge and experience from one project to another;
Ability to communicate with client staff at all levels;
ACCA or other qualification is an advantage;
Experience with international Real Estate/Private Equity structures is an advantage;
Fluent level of English written and spoken;
Second language is an advantage (French or German).
