As our teams are growing, we are now looking for a Finance Manager to lead a regional team of finance professionals in Global Finance Services (GFS) Sofia.

Job Description

What you’ll be doing?

· Lead a team of finance professionals within Global Finance Services - Sofia
· Responsibility for ensuring year / month close and forecast is performed by the team accurately, effectively, to agreed timescales and in line with regional policies
· Responsible for the financial accounting and regulatory compliance for the legal entities within the region
· Responsible the Profit and Loss and Balance Sheets complaince for each entity and oversees a wide variety of financial processes including cost controlling reviews, revenue recognition, revenue assurance, cash-flow management, Group reporting, IFRS accounting, local GAAP and statutory accounting, management of external audits, indirect and direct taxes
· Be the first point of stakeholder contact
· Support the coordination and delivery of the budget process for the region
· Support in the identification and analysis of financial risk and opportunity
· Drive business process improvements and re-engineering to deliver efficiency and add value to the business.

Qualifications

What you’ll bring?

· Finance Manager with a strong level of accounting and commercial experience gained in an international or global business in a complex, matrix environment
· At least 5 years of experience in finance or accounting and no less than 2 years of experience in a managerial role, leading people and processes
· Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance
· Experience of working in a CoE or SSC
· Proven achievement in the building and growth of diverse teams in a finance function
· Awareness of business planning techniques and tools – needed to lead the building of strategic plans, annual budgets and regular forecasting
· Good communication skills with the ability to stakeholder manage across diverse groups and across different countries
· Good relationship building skills and ability to create partnerships with stakeholders and teams
· Team player
· ACCA/CIMA certification will be considered a strong advantage
· Excellent English, spoken and written
