Job Description

What you’ll be doing?

· Understand Regional organization (e.g. strategy, priorities, technology)
· Effectively manage budgets and review incremental costs; provide challenge and review and undertake analysis to understand commercial benefits of costs
· Provide decision support and thought leadership to the business teams in commercial matters spanning product, marketing, technology, operations and customer service. Develop advanced analytics to leverage data and identify key insights and opportunities. Challenge business partners, as needed, to drive better decisions
· Partner effectively with business teams to drive performance in excess of management expectations. Proactively engage and build strong relationships with the business teams so as to stay connected on strategies and initiatives
· Manage and execute ongoing reporting, analytics and insights on performance metrics to benchmark progress against targets, initiatives and strategies. Drive meaningful actions to optimize results.
· Collaborate effectively with the global, regional and business unit finance teams across the various countries our employees work in. Act as a coach and role model with the goal of helping people and the business to achieve their collective goals
· Partner on the development and execution of the budget and strategic plan growth and profit aspirations. Provide early identification of gaps and mitigating actions and pipeline of growth initiatives.
· Manage a vendor cost forecast and work with procurement to identify commercial opportunities; build and help manage the contract database
· Prepare regional management reporting and analysis
· Liaise with regional finance teams and review / challenge all expenditure regardless of business function
· Provide modelling and analysis for initiatives (e.g., product profit understanding, cost reduction opportunities, vendor contracts)
· Support creation of business cases (including SPC), and manage budgets and ensure value expectations from approved projects expenditure is met
· Drive continuous improvement efforts in the finance function and leverage opportunities for technology, standardisation and optimisation of financial and business processes. Contribution to function strategic planning for the Region
· Build Senior finance stakeholders’ relationships in regional and business finance organisations
· Provide input to produce regular Consolidated Reporting on region level

Qualifications

What you’ll bring?

· A minimum of 5+ years working in a fast-paced Finance Department with relevant in-role work experience.
· A tangible track record of independently improving the efficiency, accuracy and insight provided by finance processes.
· Appropriate Finance qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, CPA) or equivalent
· Evidence of strong impact and influencing skills with senior stakeholders
· Ability to work cooperatively with colleagues, customers and builds strong relationships with key players.Able to work across cultures and geographies.
· Ability to use tools and systems, including Oracle, Hyperion and Excel;
· Understands Experian organization and operations. Demonstrates awareness of business strategy, priorities and changes.
· Ability to identify a desired future state that addresses a specific finance problem
· Ability to contribute in strategic debate, and has a knowledge of IT and technology trends
· Fluency in English
