Position Title: Manager Financial Control

What you’ll be doing?
Accountable for а team of Financial controllers’ delivery including annual statutory audit, local GAAP and IFRS consistent approach and compliance
Main point of contact for central and markets audit teams, statutory compliance providers working closely with and leveraging processes and expertise with the RTR team
Leading as a role model, to create the right environment for knowledge sharing and working together as well as monitoring clear metrics to measure the success of the team
Manage strategic, improvement and controls KPI’s and take accountability and ownership of issues that arise
Enhance and support delivery with needed quality and within timelines set
Knowledge transfer through training, coaching and mentoring across teams. Plan and prepare for Integrations and Improvements and build into objectives and accountability within the team.
Empower Advocate and Stakeholder Management
Liaise frequently with other managers in the team (based in the region or in country) to ensure that regional processes are being managed optimally; point of contact for the regional financial controller
Set a culture of Cross training and support across the other country reports/dashboard and align processes where possible
Develop and coach teams and analysts to increase efficiency and improve quality of output
Understands GFS regional controls requirements and ensure that all regional/global deadlines are met, and milestones are being delivered
Build and maintain robust financial models for risks and opportunities reviews, balance sheet reconciliations, revenue reporting and analysis to support regional decision making
Assist with preparation of Senior leadership presentations or financial performance packs
Continually identify process and reporting improvements that improves quality of deliverables in the finance function
Drive a culture of robust controls operating rhythm and cadence throughout the business by working with the team and countries to improve consistency and accuracy

What you’ll bring?
+6 years experience in a Financial Accounting or FP&A function, including dealing with stakeholders in different global locations.
Qualified Chartered Accountant with strong University degree qualification is recommended.
A member of internationally recognised accountancy qualification would be an advantage, i.e. CPA, ACCA, CGMA (CIMA) or equivalent.
Experience of preparing statutory financials and working with external auditors for multiple reporting cycles
Good knowledge of Oracle would be of an advantage
Proactive individual, with ability to work independently
Strong analytical skills - ability to think of pragmatic solutions to analytical challenges
Resilient and durable, able to maintain momentum in the face of obstacles and setbacks
Able to deal with ambiguity and uncertainty in an effective manner
Ability to work according to strict deadlines and manage various demands.
Customer and output focused
Ability to work effectively as part of a virtual regional team
Excellent English language skills
