Position Title: Cost Controller
We are in a search for Cost Controller who will support the cost accounting & control processes for a division within the UK&I Experian business, providing his/her expert advice on accounting and governance matters.

The role offers strong exposure, business partnering opportunities, management responsibility, direct exposure to the Director of Accounting & Controls with the opportunity to leave a lasting impact across the business.

What you’ll be doing?
Ensure all financial data is complete, accurate and all transactions are consistent with Experian’s accounting policies and IFRS.
Complete month/year end tasks in line with Experian requirements and close timetable.
Provide detailed, complete and insightful monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Oversight and review of the transactions processed and reconciliations by our Global finance services
Manage accounting processes across UKI region providing clarity on roles and responsibilities alongside these processes
Promote best practice, and continue with business process improvements and re-engineering to drive efficiency and add value to the business.
Act as a key member of Finance Management team to determine priorities and drive process and organisational change improvements.

What you’ll bring?
A minimum of 3+ years experience in a fast-paced Finance Department.
Strong presence with an ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.
A strong systems focus with a desire to drive continuous operational efficiencies and improvements.
CIMA, ACCA or other equivalent qualification will be nice to have.
Strong knowledge and understanding of technical accounting – e.g. cost accruals, capex, etc.
High confidence and ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with several stakeholders across the finance function.
Excellent English language skills
