On behalf of our partner, an American investment Company, developing one of the largest projects in Bulgaria in its field, we are looking for an experienced professional to join their team for the role of Finance Manager.

Main Responsibilities:
• In accordance with the overall business strategy, to prepare and present reasonable proposals for financial policies and procedures;
• To provide control and supervision services on the daily and recurring operations of the accounts department and the preparation of any required financial statements;
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, cashflows, funds request, ad hoc reports and reports on variances on regular basis;
• Prepare management reports outlining company’s financial position in the areas of income, expense, and earnings, based on past, present, and future operations;
• Prepare financial analyses of company operations including variance explanation and makes recommendations to ensure the achievement of business goals;
• Provide control and supervision services on the preparation, monitoring and review of monthly and annual operating budget of the company;
• Provide analyses and recommendation to ensure that the budget is achieved;
• Maintain and keep up to date with strict discipline the company assets register and to direct determination of depreciation rates according to Bulgarian legislation and internal company standards;
• Follow strictly and comply to the national tax-schedule calendar events on the company accounts and to prepare reports for regulatory agencies;
• Establish appropriate interface with banks and financial institutions, under supervision by senior management;
• Provide services on the effective planning of the Group’s tax position in light of the nature of the core business and the sources of foreign investment;
• Prepare and update the enterprise value (EV) valuation of the business to support the senior management and shareholders of the company on their investment and strategic business decisions;
• Upon assignment, to perform other services, not described herein, in assistance to the functions of risk management, regulatory compliance, corporate finance, construction finance management, and to aid the furtherment of the core business functions of the Group.

Required Qualifications and Skills:
• University degree in Economics, Finance or relevant field;
• At least 7 years of experience in international environment, including 3 in management position;
• Very good knowledge and understanding of IFRS, US GAAP, SOX and local accounting standards;
• Proficiency working with ERP Systems and MS office tools;
• Leadership style, ability to lead team effectively;
• Strong analytical thinking, time planning and organizational skills and ability to work under pressure;
• Good communicator, with verbal and written abilities, both English and Bulgarian.
