Job Description

We are looking for a Risk & Controls Analyst who will be responsible for quality assuring and reporting on the effectiveness of key controls and processes across the global and regional EITS functions.

You're probably wondering what you'll be doing:

· Assisting in the creation of a Technology Controls Assurance Strategy for EITS and facilitating the approval by the Group President of Global Technology;
· Building the control design and assurance programme, bringing in industry best practice and recognised external frameworks including COBIT to enable Experian to benchmark and externally validate the effectiveness of the control environment;
· Designing and maintaining the controls assurance operating model ensuring it operates effectively and efficiently;
· Monitoring and undertaking assurance of key controls across EITS, providing clear and timely test scripts and results;
· Assisting in the design of new controls and work with new control owners to document these in line with the requirements of the key controls library;
· Raising any challenges with the Technology Controls Officer;
· Actively contributing to a culture that achieves the business goals, delights customers and keeps consumer advocacy at the heart of everything we do;
· Pro-actively identifying risks and making recommendation to mitigate these.

Qualifications

We look for you to bring:

· Around 3 years experience in a risk and control role within a financial services or technology organisation;
· A good understanding of externally recognised Information Security / Technology control frameworks such as COBIT or equivalent;
· Excellent written and verbal English;
· Previous Risk, QA, control assurance or similar experience;
· Experience of writing reports, providing feedback and implementing changes;
· Strong stakeholder management capabilities;
· Excellent attention to detail;
· Ability to consistently apply own skillset within a varied role;
· Excellent time management and ability to work to tight deadlines.
