Internal Financial Officer
Sofia, Bulgaria

Description
The role will report to the Group Finance Manager globally and the Managing Director locally and will be also communicating with other regional finance teams. The Internal Financial Officer, Accountant will be responsible for a number of entities within the group and will work within the European finance team.
Job specification
Preparation of the month end process leading to the submission of accurate monthly management accounts in a timely manner.
Preparation of monthly financial reports for management/consolidation purposes and reconciliations where needed. Reporting for management would include preparation of a monthly report containing balance sheet, income statement and a number of disclosures.
Issuing of invoices, maintaining accounts receivables and accounts payable and payments processing.
Assisting the finance team with the monthly analysis of variances.
Assistance with the preparation of periodic VAT, Corporate Income Tax and other returns, communicating outstanding tax issues, etc.

Skills Required:
A University degree in Accountancy or equivalent (ACCA qualification);
Knowledge of the Bulgarian Accountancy Act, IFRS, VAT and Corporate Income Tax Act.
Work comfortably with numbers and great attention to detail.
Good understanding and well-versed in accounting principles and concepts.
Experience in audit would be ideal, but not necessary.
