Currently one of our clients is looking for candidates, ambitious enough to improve themselves on the position of:
Design Engineer

Main responsibilities:

• Actively participate in defining products’ requirements - improvement of existing ones and developing new ones;
• Create materials design options, then propose solutions based on analysis;
• Design and define materials requirements and study and analyze existing sensing elements;
• Prove design concept by prototype design measurements;
• Responsible for developing test plans and analysis during various phases of the development process;
• Work with vendors during prototype engineering projects;
• Communicate with customers, as needed, to insure clarity of the information supplied for design purposes;
• Perform root cause analysis to solve issues.

Main requirements:

• Strong background in materials, fabrication methods, and mechanical engineering principles ;
• At least BS, preferably MS or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Transport Technologies or similar discipline;
• Experience with micro-mechanical design and manufacture;
• Experienced in using solid modeling software;
• Excellent English language skills - verbal and written;
• Works well as a team and be able to openly communicate in an honest and forthright manner with peers, interdisciplinary engineering groups, customers and vendors;
• Willing to work abroad on a regular basis.
