Our client is a global industrial technology company, world’s leading supplier of sensors and controls across a broad range of markets and applications. For them we are looking for a motivated professional to join their team as a Mechanical Design Engineer .

Main responsibilities:

Technology selection, conceptual design and prototyping;
Work closely with a multifunctional team to validate design changes on current products and with product development teams in order to impact and validate new designs;
Conduct feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs;
Provide design information to CAD drafters;
Provide technical leadership in the design and development of sensor products;
Communicate with both internal and external customers and utilize their requests and specifications in developing solutions;
Participation in continuous improvement and cost reduction projects;
Maintain product documentation (drawings and specifications);

Required qualifications and skills:

Previous experience in the same position will be consider as an strong advantage;
Knowledge of fundamental mechanical engineering principles and ability to apply principles flexibly in unfamiliar situations;
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Transport Technologies or relevant;
Fluency in English is a must;
Ability to solve challenging problems and overcome obstacles;
Ability to deliver results in a complex, fast-paced environment;
