Our client is a global industrial technology company, world’s leading supplier of sensors and controls across a broad range of markets and applications. For them we are looking for a motivated professional to join their team as a Process Development Engineer.

Main responsibilities:

Responsible for new production processes or adapt existing production processes for the assembly, calibration and testing of automotive sensors;
Determine specifications for production equipment and interact with Mechanization and equipment suppliers to ensure equipment will meet specifications;
Taking part in global New Product Development project teams to enable successful launch of new products;
Interact with other departments on process specifications, quality aspects, product specifications and continuity of equipment.

Required qualifications and skills:

Requierments:

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering or similar discipline;
Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a similar position;
Excellent communication skills in English – written and verbal;
Ability to identify and correct problems by utilization of root cause problem solving skills and experimental methods such as DOE;
Functional understanding of advanced quality planning tools including FMEA, control plans, to meet TS16949 requirements;
Experience with manufacturing processes such as SMT, glazing, sintering, laser welding, laser incision, sandblasting etc;
Experience with Agile, Minitab or SolidWorks will be an advantage;
Advanced Skills in Microsoft Excel, Project, PowerPoint and Word;
