General duties:
Leads, organizes, coordinates and monitors the implementation of activities in the department
Plans, organizes and monitors audit engagements carried out by the other team members
Actively participates in gathering information and reports from the units in the Bank in order to support the development of the strategic and operational (annual) audit plan
Participates in the preparation of reports for internal and external stakeholders on the audit results
Organizes the review of follow-up actions from audits measures
Organizes the receipt of feedback on the effectiveness of audit engagements
Supports the team members’ in their career and talent development
Assists the Head of the Internal Audit Department to achieve strategic and operational goals

Requirements:
Master degree and certification in either CIA, ACCA, FRM, CFA, or CISA, etc.
Minimum of 5 (five) years of experience in management processes (Governance) and risk management (Risk management) or in performing internal audits in these areas in financial institutions
Very good written and spoken English is a must
Knowledge in the Global Standards for Internal Auditing, national and European banking legislation applicable to the activities audited in the relevant unit (Laws, Regulations of the BNB, Regulations and Directives of the EU, Guidelines, requirements and technical standards of the ECB/EBA).
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent communication and writing skills
