we offer the role of Software Engineer with Java.

The company provides a comprehensive integrated wealth management technology platform in addition to its investment strategies portfolio. It serves. Their customizable open-architecture platform helps Investment Advisors, Institutional Investors and family offices to grow faster and serve their clients more efficiently, allowing all aspects of the wealth management lifecycle to be addressed and accessed from a single user interface. The Asset Management consulting services include Equity, Income, Asset Allocation Strategies, Alternative Investments and, Retirement Solutions. The company originates from and is headquartered in Chicago, with offices in New York and Sofia and its clients are mainly in USA and some in Europe.

In this role YOU WILL:

• Develop and enhance new and existing functionality of a wealth management technology platform.
• Deliver high quality code while working and communicating in a team environment and take ownership in the software development process from design through maintenance.
• Option to lead or mentor other team members.

TECHNOLOGIES used in the company: Core Java 8, Messaging - Akka/ Kafka, ORM - Hibernate, DB - Oracle, NoSQL - MongoDB, Full Text Indexing - Lucene/ Elastic Search, Caching - Ehcache, Document generation - Aspose, BI& Reporting – BIRT, UI - ExtJS6/ JQuery/ DHTMLX, Front-end MVC - Struts 2, Unit Testing: Junit/ Spock, Functional Programming - Scala (prototyping), MISQ: ActiveMQ, Apache Commons, JavaMail, JOpt.

Prior experience with the technologies used in the company is not compulsory !

YOU ARE GOOD AT (have):

Java Core development (4+ years experience)
Algorithmic knowledge and writing clean and maintainable code
Understanding of software design principles
Debugging and problem solving
Passion for work and good self-organization
Spoken and written English

Extra awesome: Oracle, Hibernate, Message driven architecture, Test driven development and Financial services domain.
