Quality manager

The main purpose of the position is to ensure that all products meet or surpass defined standards of quality by developing, implementing, and monitoring an effective quality system and all the processes to support it.

What you need to succeed:

- High education degree – preferably profile “Engineer-technologist Beverage or Food Industry”;
- Min 3 years previous experience on the same or similar position;
- Very good background with Food Safety and Quality management systems and knowledge with FSSC 22000 and ISO 9001: 2000;
- Excellent organization skills and ability to work and train people;
- Persistence and punctuality;
- Very good computer literacy ;
- Very good level of working English /spoken and written/;

The person on this position will be responsible to:

- Coordinate all the activities and monitor and advise on the performance of the plant food safety and quality management system;
- Performs internal audits and communicate and coordinates activities with external companies involved in the processes with quality management system.
- Liaise with other managers and staff throughout the organization to ensure that the food safety and quality management system is functioning properly.
- Advise on changes and provide training, tools and techniques to enable others to achieve quality standards.
- Develop, maintain and update documentation of the Quality management system and operating procedures;
- Look for ways to reduce waste and increase production efficiency;
