Mechanical Design Engineer
For one of our clients - global industrial technology leader, we are looking for: Mechanical Design Engineer.


Main responsibilities:

• Product Development activities in cross-functional project teams with the responsibility for technical functionality and progress of the product design;
• You will have contact with the customer and suppliers on a regular basis;
• Develop and proof functionality, reliability and lifetime performance;
• You will define the product test strategy and oversee design and product validation programs;
• Support continuous improvement and cost reduction projects;
• Research for new designs and materials.
• You will work with well-known global automotive OEMs (VW, Audi, BMW, Mercedes, etc.) or sub suppliers.

Requirements:

• 0 - 1,6 years of engineering experience;
• Technical background with a Master or Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, physics, chemistry/ material science, electrical engineering, automotive technology or comparable;
• Good verbal and written knowledge of English is a must;
• Multidisciplinary, pragmatic and result oriented with strong analytical skills;
• Someone with a pro-active attitude, persistent and capable of setting priorities to be able to solve challenging problems and overcome obstacles;
• Team player able to work in multidisciplinary projects teams and communicates openly in an honest and forthright manner.
