The production company Construction Tools EOOD, Ruse, was founded in 1987 as a company for hydro drilling equipment. During the period 2005-2017, the company was part of the Swedish Group Atlas Copco, which has invested intensively in the construction of new production facilities, optimization of the production process and enrichment of the products range. From the beginning of February 2018, the company became part of the Swedish Group Husqvarna.

The factory manufactures light compaction machines, concrete equipment, hand-held hydraulic equipment for construction such as compactors, rollers, screeds, trowels, breakers, power stations, pumps, cutters, concrete drilling machines.

Job Description

As a Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible to continuously research existing and potential markets and evaluate existing and potential suppliers based on their financial stability, technical capabilities, quality, logistic performance and their cost structure.
The job holder reports to the General Manager of the company.

Your responsibilities shall include:

Lead and develop the purchasing function and its team members in line with the company's targets, and with modern purchasing methods;
Ensure the purchasing function’s early involvement in the product development process, to ensure a maximum contribution to improvement in product costs;
Develop the supplier base in accordance with Divisional and international benchmarks;
Actively participate in purchasing coordination with the other Product Companies;
Improve quality performance from suppliers.
Act as a senior buyer;

Your Qualifications, knowledge and experience in the following areas are expected:
Experienced purchasing professional – at least 5 years of experience;
Technical experience from Production and/or Engineering environment;
Knowledge of contract law and associated legislation;
Strong communication skills: the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of contacts;
Analysis and reasoning with financial understanding;
Excellent negotiation skills;
Experience with ERP system;
Fluent level of English is a must.
