Our client is a privately held market leader in maritime and fire safety. For the expansion of the team we are looking for:

Quality Specialist

Responsibility and tasks:

• Conduct incoming control of materials according to Control instructions / Support setup of control instructions in SAP QM
• Identify, record inspection results and non-conformities in SAP / complaint database;
• Perform root cause analysis in case of non-conformities;
• Support the Sourcing & Engineering department on selection / approval of suppliers;
• Manage and report blocked stock materials;
• Perform adhesive test control and training of operators;
• Conduct final control (inflation test) of life rafts;
• Manage calibration of production and laboratory equipment;
• Participate in internal audits;
• Provide periodic trainings to Factory staff;

Qualifications:

• Good command of written and spoken English is a must;
• Technical / engineering degree or similar;
• Experience with Quality management systems, ISO 9001
• Very good PC skills, SAP user
• Experience with data analysis and statistics
• Knowledge on materials and chemicals, as well Lean Management would be an advantage;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, trainer abilities;
• Accurate in data management;
• Systematic approach and initiative;
• Independently work within due dates;
