For one of our partners, we are currently looking for:

FAILURE ANALYSIS ENGINEER

Requirements for the position:
University degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics;
Good knowledge of design processes and experience with CAD system - CATIA V5, ProEngineer, Solidworks, UniGraphics ;
Excellent knowledge of ANSYS , Abacus or related. ANSA / Hyper Mesh would be an advantage;
Work experience with non–linear FEA simulations of plastic parts and components;
Good knowledge of the plastic parts design rules and related engineering materials properties;
Advanced knowledge of English; German would be considered as an advantage.
Main responsibilities:
Verifying design solutions for electro mechanic devices, mechanic assemblies and mechanic components considering functional, material, manufacturing and economic aspects;
Creation of design concepts and examination of components, assemblies and devices;
Usage of development tools like FEA for devices or assembly groups to ensure the fulfillment of customer requirements;
Bridging the obtained FEA knowledge to the physical tests in cooperation with the qualification department;
Participation in global projects and development teams. Defining and plannning own task and ensuring delivery of results on time and in the right quality.
