Currently, we are looking for a Senior C# Developer who is deeply familiar with developer tools, distributed systems and accustomed to resolving complex engineering challenges, all while enhancing developer productivity and maintaining operational excellence.

You will be part of a fast-paced international engineering team, executing in an always evolving work environment. This involves ensuring that software products that touch the physical world are always available and performant under exponential growth conditions.

As a Senior C# Developer you will be responsible for:

Contributing to Virtual Filesystem for Git open-source project by fixing bugs and adding missing features
Working on scaling git to work on very large repositories both on the client-side and server-side
Working on internal projects by contributing to the full software development lifecycle including design, development, documentation, testing, and deployment.

If you have:

4+ years of experience in software development
BA, or equivalent, in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
Experience working with macOS (OS-level debugging)
Prior experience working with C# (.NET Core)
Prior experience with C
Working level of written and spoken English

An advantage would be if you have:

Knowledge of version control systems (Git, Mercurial) internals
Familiarity with build tools like Bazel/Buck, Gradle, Dep, etc.
History of contributions to open source projects
