Summary
Seeking a senior back-end engineer based anywhere in Europe to work on our innovative market research project, listening247®. Aspects of this job include designing, developing, testing, and deploying new cutting-edge software solutions to help further advance our web platforms. This is a full-time placement with a competitive salary and significant opportunities for innovation, growth, and advancement.

Requirements:
• Having a great fit with the DigitalMR company values
• Experience managing full-life development cycles
• 6+ years of experience in web development with Python/Django
• Proven experience implementing API based architectures (SOA, micro-services)
• Experience writing high-quality unit tests
• Strong working knowledge with both NoSQL and SQL databases
• Record in building modular, reusable, and well-documented code
• Hands on experience with Git workflows in an agile environment
• Experience designing and deploying REST APIs in production
• Experience and/or interest in building a modern SaaS platform, including progress of user onboarding, engagement, analytics
• Github account with publicly available code samples
• Professional experience with enterprise architecture and developing highly scalable websites/services will be considered an advantage

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Working closely with a dynamic team of software engineers to realise web-based platforms
• Developing web applications/platforms for market research
• Developing backend services and APIs for Big Data harvesting and reporting
