As an Engineering Manager working for our Skrill and Neteller digital wallets, part of the Paysafe Group, you’ll be able to take part in shaping the future of payments. With over 10 years’ experience, Skrill and Neteller are the go-to payment options when it comes to e-money transfers and playing online.
Your primary responsibility will be to the people you support: ensuring that they are growing as engineers, doing valuable work and generally having a great time at Paysafe. You have broad experience in technical leadership, working with a group of skilled engineers in R&D. Solid background in software development is a must, so that you’re able to challenge and mentor your team members. You will have the opportunity to influence the culture, facilitate technical delivery and work with your team on strategy and execution.


To be successful you need to be

• You love developing and growing people and have a tracked record doing it
• You are knowledgeable and passionate about technology, optimisation and scalability
• You have experience in building server-side components for large-scale web applications
• You understand the architectural perspective on technology
• You can lead, coach and mentor engineers towards delivering high-quality software together in a timely manner
• You have solid experience working in an agile environment
• You have prior individual contributor experience as engineer
• You have a very good command of English


What to expect

• You will build and lead several teams of engineers (15 – 18 people) through hiring, coaching, mentoring and hands-on career development
• Lead and own timely delivery of modern and innovative technical solutions to address business needs
• You'll craft a meaningful vision for the team, working in concert with product managers, stakeholders and other development teams
• Advocate and advance modern, agile software development and evangelize great engineering and organizational practices
• Encourage a healthy, collaborative engineering culture in line with the company values
• Promote the launch and maintenance of tools and processes supporting highly professional software engineering standards
• Actively collaborate with your colleagues and other leaders in the organisation
