Our client is a leader in an innovation petrochemical technology field. In relation with expansion of their plant capacity we are looking for an experienced professional to join their team, for the position of
SENIOR PROCESS ENGINEER
(Oil/Chemical Industry)
The role will lead the procees design, installation and troubleshooting of petro chemical plant systems and equipment, while driving improvement efforts based on hystorical data of the commercially run plants in 24/7 operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Leads development of all process design calculations and deliverables such as process simulations;
Heat and Material Balances (H&MB), Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping and Instrumentation;
Diagrams (P&IDs), hydraulic calculations, equipment sizing;
Responsible for adaptation of existing pertro-chemical lines for installment at other green field sites;
Manages and supervise engineering project assignments, progress and reports;
Progressive design and project management responsibilities;
Provides engineering assistance during procurement, construction, commissioning and start up activities.
Role requirements and essential skills needed:
University degree in chemical engineering;
10 years experience in process, production and/or manufacturing engineering within the chemical petroleum or industrial manufacturing environments;
Strong working knowledge of chemical and/or mechanical engineering, including a strong understanding of the process techniques;
Working knowledge of chemical Plant construction, commissioning and start up principles;
Strong understanding of the EU directives such as PED, ATEX directive, quality and safety regulations.
