We are currently looking for one of our clients – production company, a highly motivated candidate for the position of:

Health, Safety and Environment Manager

Responsibilities:
Supervise compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, as well as compliance with instructions, rules, and regulations in force in this area.
Carry out and document the monitoring of activities to ensure occupational health and safety.
Participates in the development and updating of internal regulations relevant to occupational safety and health /instructions, rules, etc./.
Plan and carry out internal audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company procedures, highlighting any discrepancies and preparing activities aimed at filling them, including field audits.
Participates in inspections by external control bodies and monitors the implementation of their prescriptions.
Makes proposals for the shutdown of unsafe machinery, equipment, installations, etc., posing a threat to the health and life of workers. Monitors compliance with the prohibitions imposed.
Prepares analysis reports, reports, etc., on occupational safety and health, environmental issues, and sustainability
Ideal background/ experience:
Relevant academic background
Good level of English (minimum B2)
2/3 years experience EHS management
Good knowledge of Safety Systems
Well versed in local and industrial EHS regulations
Experience in a plant, industrial or port operations environment
Dynamic, hands on approach
Strong communication and leadership skills
