Glatec Ltd. is an international company in the field of functional hinges, which is located in an industrial zone near the city of Plovdiv. The company successfully develops its production in the direction of automation and digitalization, relying on its long traditions and experience.

For its Automation Department the company is looking for: Electrical Design Engineer

Main responsibilities:

• Analyze project requirements and perform technical calculations;
• Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, systems;
• Coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, and documentation to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, customer requirements, project scope, schedules, and budget;
• Maintain systems and component capabilities, search for ways to improve functionality and efficiency;
• Prepare comprehensive documentation for all electrical designs (incl. wiring diagrams and schematics, bills of materials, assembly drawings, design changes, test reports, design-validation plans);
• Prepare reports ensuring that installations and operations conform to standards and customer requirements. Develop and implement software databases for tracking production processes;
• Creating 2D drawnings;
• Configure, program, test and diagnose PLC / robot controller.

Main requirements:

• Higher Technical education
• Experience in similar position in the manufacturing industry - at least 3 years;
• Skills with software for industrial electrical design (AutoCAD Electrical, Eplan, NX)
• Skills with PLC Programing (TIA Portal, …)
• Experience with robot programming
