We are launching a new strategic Crossmedia link project that will service the biggest and most strategic for GfK markets and we are looking for highly motivated professionals. We are glad to invite you to join us as:

System administrator
GfK Crossmedia link, Sofia hub

Key objective of the role:
• Administration of IT infrastructure in the HUB and external data centers including servers, network
• Ensure stability and performance of this systems and all related IT processes
• Perform IT change management (i.e. system updates)
• Perform IT incident management (i.e. bug fixing, user support, documentation, communication)
• Perform IT security management (e.g. Access Management, Vulnerability Testing)
• Monitor health of the related systems by using monitoring tools
• Work very closely with the related local units and the central HUB departments
• Requirement Engineering

“MUST HAVE” knowledge and experience:
• At least 3 years of professional experience as Linux / Unix System Administrator preferably Debian Linux
• Excellent English skills, both written and spoken
• Detailed proven excellent administrative knowledge in some of the following areas:
Shell scripting (i.e. bash, awk, sed, grep, find)
MySQL (i.e. replication, storage engine, backup)
Nagios/Icinga (i.e. active and passive checks, high availability)
Apache (i.e. vHosts, SSL, PHP)
Hadoop
IT Automation Tools (i.e. Puppet, Chef)
Cloud Solutions (i.e. Amazon AWS)
Virtualisation (i.e. VMware)
• Java knowledge

Personal skills:
Responsible person with good prioritization skills and willing to stay up-to-date with the latest thinking in their area.
