Acts as a member of the pursuit solution team in EMEA Enterprise Services sales engagements. He/she is responsible for the solution design for his or her offering (DC) throughout the engagement life-cycle for new customer engagements as well as for engagements with our installed customer base. The Solution Designer closely cooperates with delivery, portfolio and product marketing resources in order to build the most optimized solution in terms of cost, price and risk. 
Primary responsibilities:
• Participates in the development of company Value Proposition.
• Prepares for and facilitates solution governance and approval reviews.
• Validates and approves all deliverables for the offering.
• Interfaces with the Solution Lead, Proposal Manager and Bid Manager.
• Delivers solution, cost/pricing models, and proposal content efficiently, effectively, and timely.
• Provides market price information for the technical solution.
• Ensures solution is complete, sound and costed accurately.
• Responds to and supports the Bid Manager in executing the bid process.
• Ensures company's delivery plan meets client's expectations.
• Ensures solution components align with standards and best practices.
• Ensures cost and pricing models align with standards and best practices.
• Keeps to the schedule.
• Minimizes issues and inconsistencies.

Requirements:
• In-depth knowledge of datacenter and cloud technologies including – Computers, Storage, Private and Public Cloud architectures.

• Three or more years experience in technical solution design or engineering for complex IT environments, ideally in commercial deals.
• Proven capability of designing ITO services proposals for large opportunities.
• Proven track record of winning workplace opportunities.
• Fluency in English and German is mandatory!!!
