Senior JavaScript Developers


Purpose of the Role
We need +2 JavaScript Engineers to join our Ruby on Rails software development team. They will participate in building high-availability, high scalability big data projects with latest technologies. The team is working in cross-cultural, multinational environment across US,BG,MK,RO,SR and other locations.

Duties & Responsibilities
-Translates designs and style guides provided by the UI/UX team into functional user interfaces, ensuring cross browser compatibility and performance
-Be able and willing to contribute to UI/UX design conversations
-Assists in defining software architectures
-Collaborates with leads to explore existing systems, determines areas of complexity, potential risks to successful implementation, learns the applications capabilities
-Communicates continually with the client and project teams – explains progress on the development effort
-Contributes to continual improvement by suggesting improvements to user interface, software architecture or new technologies
-Rapidly fix bugs and solve problems
-Proactively look for ways to make our apps better.

Required Experience & Knowledge
+5 Years of experience as a JavaScript developer
-Experience with Angular.js is a must
-Familiarity with cross browser issues, including older browsers
-Well versed in software engineering principles, frameworks and technologies
-Strong JavaScript Application development skills
-Highly skilled at front-end engineering using Object-Oriented JavaScript, various JavaScript libraries and micro frameworks (jQuery, D3, CrossFilter), HTML and CSS
-Dedicated to producing fully testable enterprise level JavaScript applications
-Unit Testing, TDD, BDD, Grunt, Karma, Jasmine
-Advanced understanding of Git workflows and collaboration
