SENIOR/LEAD RUBY ON RAILS DEVELOPER


Purpose of the Role
The Senior /Lead Ruby on Rails Developer is a newly open role in our growing Software development team. The purpose of the role is to leverage an open-source technology stack to radically transform a web application into an award winning solution. The Senior /Lead Ruby on Rails developer will work closely with clients, peers and project managers.

Required Experience & Knowledge
Essential:
• Solid web programming experience
• Seniority expertise in software development using Ruby
• Expert level knowledge and commercial experience working with Rails, Rspec, Active Record
• Advanced understanding of RDBMS such as MySQL
• Client-facing experience in Agile environment
Desirable:
• Familiarity with non-relational databases
• Know how in GIT, AWS and Attlassian
• A prior leadership experience

• Methodical and structured approach with eye for detail and quality
• Ability to manage own time, prioritizes effectively and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to cultivate creativity and generate innovative solutions for revolutionary technical problems

Required Education & Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or relevant discipline
• Excellent written and spoken English language
• Any IT certificates will be considered as a big advantage
• Be prepared to provide URLs to project you have built
