The Xogito Group is currently recruiting an experienced person to join our growing Technical Operations Department at the position of:


Technical Operations Manager


Purpose of the Role
The Manager of Technical Operation’s role is to provide comprehensive leadership to our operations teams (voice, video, Internet), as well as be a infrastructure leader for the client’s projects/products.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Manages the schedule and composition of a global 24/7 team of technical operations specialists
• Has deep knowledge of infrastructure architecture and can make decisions for the future of the projects/platforms
• Has deep knowledge of the development process of web projects/products
• Provide day to day leadership and direction to Xogito’s Technical Operations team
• Analyze, react to and provide periodic reporting on key operational metrics across all products/services
• Actively support escalated customer issues and escalated technical infrastructure issues
• Develop and/or improve upon operational processes and procedures designed to ensure continuous
departmental performance improvement
• Demonstrate a hands-on leadership approach, when necessary, to ensure operational success.
• Lead or be an active participant in cross-departmental efforts to enhance the customer experience, deploy new
products/service, and improve overall business performance
• Exercise sound fiscal decision-making and maintain a strong financial understanding of the client’
capital, expense and maintenance budgets.
• Demonstrate and perpetuate a strong sense of operational urgency associated with serving external and
internal customers
• Demonstrate a high degree of personal availability to support the operational needs of the business
• Exhibit strong attention to detail behavior and perpetuate this trait within subordinate work groups.
• Manage external vendor relationships to ensure timely and effective vendor support

Required Experience & Knowledge
• 10+ years of Linux and/or Windows hands-on experience as system administrator
• 3+ years of leading a team of system administrators
• Experience designing distributed systems
• Strong understanding of scaling and resiliency patterns

Skills & Attributes
• Experience with activities for business-critical systems
• Strong problem solving and debugging skills
• Designs and development of the corporate business process flow
• Excellent teamwork skills


Required Education & Qualifications
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is a must
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related degree
• Any IT certificates will be considered as a big advantage
• Be prepared to explain an overview for projects that you have worked on
