With the foundation of it-economics Bulgaria EOOD, we extend our service offerings by a nearshore service portfolio enabling a more flexible performance throughout the market.

This portfolio includes project management services as well as IT system development with Java.

As Software Developer Java you will be employed with our Bulgarian affiliate, it-economics EOOD, located in the heart of the country's capital, Sofia.

In your function, you will offer advice to our customers as an expert for Java. Your main task is to support clients’ projects offsite by developing sophisticated solutions based on Java at your own responsibility.

Furthermore, you will advise on software architecture and design issues. Your daily business includes requirements analysis, the creation of functional and solution specification documents as well as programming and quality assurance of (web-) applications in Java for all architectural levels (web backend, EJBs, persistence and database).

You will be in charge of technological issues at your own responsibility. In addition, you will be the competent contact person within the development team in Sofia as well as for the client or client’s contact person in Germany on the project.

What you have to offer:
» A successfully completed computer sciences degree or comparable
» At least three years of work experience in software development, implementation and design
» Profound knowledge of the Java Enterprise technologies, particularly in web development with Java (Apache, Tomcat, Spring, Hibernate, XML, CSS/SCSS, JS, AJAX, JQuery)
» Expertise in Mobile Apps Development (iOS/Android) appreciated
» Experience in Agile Software Development appreciated
» Initial experience in modeling techniques, process technologies, analysis and documentation techniques
» Broad knowledge of software project processes
» Test case performance knowhow
» Flexibility and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
» Ability to quickly acquire new competencies
» Capacity for teamwork, commitment
» Strong analytical skills, an effective and efficient way of working
» Excellent command of the English language, German appreciated
