Senior Linux administrator
Global IT department

Purpose of the role:
Implementation of all necessary operative tasks to guarantee maintenance of operation.
Run applications, services, platforms and network to deliver promised service portfolio according SLAs.

Key objectives of the role:
•Incident resolution, Incident management;
•Implementing changes, Change management;
•Installation of new versions, patches;
•Close customer contact during operative work;
•Supplier management for incident related communication;
•Documentation of all executed tasks in a ticket tool and CMDB;
•Proactive capacity and performance management of systems and system components;
•Support in planning and implementation of projects / new designs.


“MUST HAVE” knowledge and experience:
•IT-related education
•At least 3 years of working experience in IT
•Excellent knowledge in administrating Enterprise Linux environments based on SLES, RHEL and OEL;
•Excellent knowledge in Puppet/Foreman and Nagios monitoring;
•Detailed understanding in elementary network areas (TCP/IP, DNS/DHCP, SNMP, NFS);
•Experience in virtual environments based on VMWare ESX;
•Very good English language skills.


Considered as an advantage:
A certification (LPIC or similar);
Knowledge in administrating HDSF/Hadoop.
