This is a remote, home-based position.
Scopic Software (www.scopicsoftware.com) is seeking for intelligent, hard-working, passionate Middle JavaScript Developer who wants to do interesting work. Scopic Software is US-based company with employees in more than 20 different countries. The company develops graphics, multimedia and image processing/analysis software for the desktop, web and mobile platforms. Engineers work from the comfort of their home using a PC and internet connection. Projects can be short or long. Project team sizes range from 1 to 10 people, including QA and a project manager. Web-based project management, source code control and bug tracking software help to manage the development process. Work is interesting and challenging.

Skills required:
• Strong JavaScript programming skills.
• 3+ years experience in JavaScript development.
• Experience with web applications development (not just website development).
• Expertise in client-side JS frameworks (e.g., Ember, Angular, ReactJS).
• Software architecture and design pattern knowledge.
• Interest/passion for modern web technologies.
• Good English reading and writing skills. Intermediate spoken-level English skills.
• Git experience/expertise.
• Test-driven design knowledge/experience - e.g., QUnit, Mocha, Jasmine (desired, not required).
• Virtual DOM, shadow DOM, web-components expertise (desired, not required).
• ES6 knowledge (desired, not required).
• Dedication and discipline to work remotely from home.
• Good home computer and internet connection.

This is a full-time position.

Hourly rate range is $15-$22/hr depends on skills and experience.
