Job scope:

- Development and implementation of novel publishing modalities and associated software tools;
- Development of websites;
New modules and systems: web based applications, content management tools.

Required skills:

- Knowledge of PHP >= 5.3
- Knowledge of database design (SQL)
- Strong knowledge and experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL database
- Object-oriented programming skills (OOP)
- Experience with MVC frameworks
- Experience with version control software (Git, Gitflow)
- Knowledge of HTML(5), DHTML, CSS(3), JavaScript, jQuery, Node.js
- Knowledge of AJAX, JSON, SOAP, REST/RESTfull
- Knowledge of XML, XSLT, RDF
- Knowledge of commandline (Bash)
- Working level of English language
- 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience, preference given to candidates who have shipped production-level software and services.

Advantages:

- Experience with Ruby on Rails, Python (Django), SEO, Distributed Algorithms, Distributed Systems and Databases, UML, Cloud Architectures and Software‘s, Software as a Service (SaaS), Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) will be considered a definite plus, but it is not mandatory.
