We're now hiring a Linux Admin to work on our products at our R&D center in Sofia, Bulgaria.
In this role, you will:
Maintain uptime of critical 24/7 customer applications and services.
Support the migration of the development and/or production environment to new technologies.
Plan server and storage capacity for the most complex and critical systems.
Coordinate and perform regular software releases in an agile development environment.
FYI, we’re looking for sysadmins who learn fast, manage time well, feel comfortable in multi-platform environments and are responsive to company goals.
REQUIREMENTS
A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or another related field.
1-3 years (Junior), 4-7 years (Mid-Level), 8+ years (Senior) of experience in Linux administration.
Knowledge of PKI, VMWare and Apache web server.
Knowledge of Nexenta Storage System.
Knowledge of MySQL.
Familiarity with all or some: Tomcat, SNMP, Putty, MYSQL, Python, LDAP, Perl, Bash, Python scripting.
Web server administration
Virtualization and managing virtual machines
Enterprise monitoring and management frameworks
Working experience in structured change management processes for highly available enterprise systems
Work well with others
Self motivated
Ability to learn new technologies
Knowledge of the Linux kernel and kernel modules
Familiarity with open source tools, monitoring systems, hardware troubleshoot, tracking, resolution, and routine maintenance with security updates
Perform installations/patching of operating system, software installation, and system backups - data recovery
Strong technical aptitude and ability to research and solve complex issues independently
Working exposure to networked storage (SAN, NAS) concepts
