SoftServe is looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join our professional team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop protocol recognition patterns, signature using special descriptive language (XML-like)
• Work in the team of engineers who develop patterns locally and on remote (with Client)
• Cooperate with applications development team with the purpose of integrating patterns on application level
• Daily meetings and written communication with US client

Education:

• IT Networks / Telecom / Computer Science or similar

Skills & Abilities:

• Very strong understanding of TCP/IP protocol stack as well as L2 protocols (e.g., Ethernet)
• Familiar with RFC specification format, able to use/analyze them with the purpose of creating patterns
• Understanding the concept of programming, knowledge of some programming or scripting language will be a plus (like one of: Python, Ruby, Linux Shell, etc.)
