Currently searching for Network Engineer that is responsible for design, implement, maintain and support of the growing network and telecom Infrastructure.
Provide support a 24/7/365 , 2nd / 3rd line ongoing support and project resource for new / existing projects
This is a key role within the operations department working within a team of system / project engineers, to be responsible for designing and developing scalable, maintainable, highly available network architectures that meet business objectives and SLA’s / OLA’s

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Monitor system resource utilization, trending and capacity planning
• Provide network / telecoms resource on all new projects
• Designing and implementation of new solutions and improving resilience of the current network / telephony environment
• Provide 2nd / 3rd line support and troubleshooting to resolve issues within all Tungsten environments (on premise / cloud)
• Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
• Select and implement security tools, policies and procedures in conjunction with the Tungsten Security manager
• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
• Participate with technical supplier management of third party Network / telecom providers
• Maximizing network performance by monitoring, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades for network optimization
• Configuration on all FW’s, switches, routers, Hosted IP voice services

YOUR PROFILE:

Education Required
• Bachelors/A Level or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or similar
• CCNA

Optional
• CCNP
• Comptia Network +
• Security +
• Project management certification (Prince 2 or PMP) would be beneficial
• AWS / Cloud architect, Operations
• CEH – certified Ethical Hacker
• CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional
• Relevant network qualification

Experience Required:

• Experience of implementing / configuration - FW’s (Checkpoint and /or Cisco), switches, routers, LAN, WAN, MAN, GAN’s
• Experienced in designing and hardening network infrastructure to minimise the attack posture of our global network and voice infrastructure
• AWS / Cloud network experience
• Cloud security experience
• Hands on Telephony support experience (VOIP, PBX, SIP)
• Deep understanding of network protocols (IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, Qos)
• Solid understanding of OSI and TCP/IP model
• Exposure to project management processes would be highly beneficial
• Change management experience
• Worked in an Agile environment
• Solid understanding of the support and design requirements of core infrastructure technologies like networks, active directory, Windows, Unix, SQL
