Our current client is an Accounting and Auditing company, providing the full scope of related services. On their behalf we are looking for Tax Manager to join their team in Sofia. If you are curious about this exciting opportunity, then this might be the chance you have been waiting for!

Responsibilities:

- Deliver a full range of tax services in compliance with the international and local tax legislation within timeframe;
- Manage and coordinate tax audit engagements;
- Research the implications of tax laws and advise clients on tax related issues in diverse industries;
- Build relationships and interact with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting and expertise;
- Help minimize tax risks associated with IPOs, mergers, and acquisitions, and other business dealings;
- Identify and mitigate tax risks;
- Provide innovative tax planning and review complex income tax returns;
- Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices;
- Research and develop tax-saving strategies;
- Reconcile tax data on financial statements;
- Plan, direct, and execute various tax projects;
- Perform research and prepare/review technical tax memorandum;
- Additional responsibilities will include participation in engagements related to business advisory services, risk management, internal control and internal audit.

Requirements:

- Minimum experience of 5 years in taxation;
- Extensive knowledge of CITA, VAT Act, DTT`s, IFRS and other applicable laws and regulations;
- University degree in Accounting or Finance or related field;
- Bulgarian and/or international accounting qualification such as CPA and/or ACCA is advantage;
- Fluent in English including reading, speaking and writing;
- Excellent business communication etiquette;
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills;
- Excellent computer literacy including Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
