he Cyber Security Analysts are responsible for delivering operational services to outsourcing accounts on time, on target with quality. He/she works on shifts which include night shifts. The Cyber Security Analyst focuses on accepting and analyzing security incidents related to the supported customer environments. The main goal is to acknowledge, classify, collate and qualify all incoming alerts from the customer's production environment and to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction and predefined Service Level Agreements. He/she works in close relationship with other teams and is under direct supervision by the team management

Job specifics/responsibilities:

Incident Logging, Categorization, Prioritization, Management and Closing:

• Open an Incident record (where not already automated) for each Incident to record and track all relevant information
• Provide a complete history of events and activities throughout the incident lifecycle
• Categorize and prioritize the Incident so that it can be handled quickly and efficiently.
• Prioritize the incident based on the Incident’s urgency and impact to the business.
• Ensure all alerts are acted upon conscientiously and in the framework expected.

Initial Diagnosis:

• Identify all symptoms of the reported alert in order to establish the effect on End Users / customer business operations.
• Employment of diagnostic scripts, tools, known error databases and knowledge base to assist with initial diagnosis.
• Engage the relevant higher level support team.
• If the alert is believed to be a Major Incident the Critical Incident Manager / Shift Manager / Security Incident Response Manager needs to be notified
• Ongoing support activities to be performed according to SLAs and defined timelines
• Provide highest quality and according to predefined timelines
• Strictly follow HP ITSM/ITIL processes and procedures


Education (degree) and professional experience required:

• Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems or equivalent certifications (MCSE, MCP, Oracle/MCDBA, HP-UX, CCNA, CCNP, SNIA).
• Minimum of 1 year experience within IT Operations, infrastructure services support (Systems NT, UX, Backups, DB’s, IT Security or Network management), operations monitoring and end user support.
• Minimum of 1 year hands-on technical knowledge of the applicable technology platform that you will be responsible for: Network management, Security and HP Open View Products. Must be able to demonstrate troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
