The Windows Implementation Engineer role is to deliver services – from project implementation and change management of configuration items to outsourcing accounts on time, on target, budget-wise and with quality. The person at this role must be capable of consulting, designing, testing, implementing, managing capability requirements into a new or existing infrastructure using HPE methodology.

Responsibilities:


• Responsible for client/account interactions as required

• Responsible for producing part or all of the technical solution for the account/client

• Responsible for the engineering of end to end solutions as required

• Responsible for documenting project requirements, risks, design, test plans deployment procedures and operation/support procedures

• Responsible for providing third level production support for client/account escalations and/or system outages

• Develop supporting scripts using Windows Command Line, VB script, PowerShell

Qualifications:


• University Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering etc. or equivalent certifications



• Experienced troubleshooting to a specialist level within Microsoft Windows Server Network Infrastructures including Resilient and High Availability service solutions



• Demonstrates understanding of virtualization technologies, either MS Hyper-V or VMWARE, vSphere configuration etc.



• Knowledge of: Microsoft Active Directory, Network technologies, Ability to Design, install and configure Windows Server 2008/2012 environments: File and Print Server Migrations, Failover Clustering, DNS, DHCP, KMS Server/solution



• Experience with a variety of backup and storage solutions



• Ability to interact with clients and co-suppliers in a clear and concise language.



• Fluent in English: both written and verbal



• Excellent communication and presentation skills
