Automation Quality Engineer

This is a position within the Quality Engineering teams. Teams consist of experienced developers and quality engineers who constantly deliver complex end-to-end automation solutions. The person will be responsible for the test design and test execution by utilizing the full range of virtualization and automation technologies, third party vendors and the open-source community.


Responsibilities:

- Analyze product requirements and functional specifications
- Identify best test strategies and define test design specifications
- Build/extend a fault tolerant system used for test execution and result analysis
- Implement "out of the box" solutions to optimize test execution performance

Requirements:

- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
- At least 3 years of professional experience in testing enterprise software products
- Very good understanding of the software development and testing processes and methodologies
- Experience with enterprise architecture and integration principles – REST, SOAP, extensive XML usage, stateless designs, etc.
- Solid grasp of software development life cycle best-practices, methods and conventions, including but not limited to Unit and Integration Testing, Source Code Management, Continuous Integration, Domain Driven Design, and Dependency Management
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skill
- Willingness to work without close supervision and with proactive goal-oriented attitude
- Proficient in Networking and/or operating systems: Windows, Linux or Unix
- Excellent communication skills and fluent English (speaking/reading/writing)

Advantages:
- Relevant Software test certifications are a plus
- Experience with any of Java, JavaScript, Python, Perl, Batch Scripting
