JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our client is providing an IT Systems and Integration Government Solutions and advanced human resources management systems to much of the US Government. 
In order to fulfill their purpose we are looking for an experienced Java Engineer who will drive forward the range of products using the latest Java and related technologies.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain current and new applications and web services

- Participation in full software development lifecycle including requirements analysis and design

- Responsibility for developing solutions and implementing features at all layers of the applications
- Understanding of multiple SDLC concepts, experience in an agile environment a plus

- Understand complex business flows, and work closely with QA to resolve issues

- Design and develop software in a group or independently

- Lead technical design and development reviews

- Responsibility for ensuring code testability, good code coverage and maintainability

- Assist in formulating standards and development practices across multiple related teams


Requirements:
- Advanced software development experience

- Experience with Spring, Groovy, Maven and other Java related technologies

- Good fundamental and hands-on knowledge of with Oracle SQL Database

- Good development methodology expertise of life cycle
- Web-based development experience; involvement with large-scale, high-volume web-based systems is preferred
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English (Czech language is not required)

- Ability to communicate directly with all levels of technical and business resources
- Excellent analytical skills, understanding of project life cycles
