One of our client – company provider of IT security services - we are looking for:
-------- SECURITY SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR--------
The suitable candidate must have:
• Technical degree in IT field;
• Two years of working experience (advantage) in IT Security;
• Experience with Linux or Windows;
• Working knowledge of Security principles, techniques and technologies;
• Good understanding of network protocols, design and operations;
• Experience with Alien Vault or similar SIEM product;
• Vulnerability and threat management experience;
• Understanding of cryptography principles and good understanding of the components of a secure DLC/SDLC;
• Experience with TCP/IP packet analysis;
• Willingness to travel.
Main responsibilities:
• Recognizes potential, successful, and unsuccessful intrusion attempts and compromises thorough reviews and analyses of relevant event detail and summary information;
• Responsible for monitoring and responding to security events of the servers, network equipment, workstations, storage equipment and affiliated operations;
• Ensure the success of a comprehensive security plan for monitoring and responding to network security events in conjunction with the Information Security Officer on behalf of the institution through periodical reviews of controls, policy adherence, log review, monitoring network audit trails and incident management;
• Reacts to customers escalations;
• Identify, analyze, and document actions taken by malicious actors;
• Examine media and malware analysis reports and operational reporting from incidents to correlate similar events, tradecraft, and TTPs of malicious activity.
