Purpose of the Role:
Implementation of all necessary operative tasks to guarantee maintenance of operation
Run applications, services, platforms and network to deliver promised service portfolio according SLAs
Ensure global IT support based on follow-the-sun organization as well as 24/7 on-call-duty
Key Activities:
Incident resolution, Incident management
Implementing changes, Change management
Installation of new versions, patches
Close customer contact during operative work
Supplier management for incident related communication
Documentation of all executed tasks in a ticket tool and CMDB
Proactive capacity and performance management of systems and system components
Support in planning and implementation of projects / new designs
Requirements
Technical skills required:
Administration of global Firewall environment
Securing IP Networks
Setup and Management of site-to-site VPN´s and User Remote Access via VPN
Public Key Infrastructure
IP address management of a global enterprise network
Qualified IT or IT-related education
At least 6 years of working experience in IT, thereof 3 years in respective subject area
Proficiency in English
