IT Specialist (MS Exchange and Active Directory)

Purpose of the Role:
Implementation of all necessary operative tasks to guarantee maintenance of operation
Run applications, services, platforms and network to deliver promised service portfolio according SLAs
Ensure global IT support based on follow-the-sun organization as well as 24/7 on-call-duty
Key Activities:
Incident resolution, Incident management
Implementing changes, Change management
Installation of new versions, patches
Close customer contact during operative work
Supplier management for incident related communication
Documentation of all executed tasks in a ticket tool and CMDB
Proactive capacity and performance management of systems and system components
Support in planning and implementation of projects / new designs
Requirements
Technical skills required:
Very good and applicable knowledge of Microsoft Exchange 2010 and 2013
Proven experience in Microsoft Exchange 2010 and 2013 administration, operation and management
Experience in implementation of Microsoft Exchange 2013 into a Microsoft based Infrastructure
Very good and applicable knowledge of Microsoft Server, MS Infrastructure, including Active Directory with large multi
Domain Support, and good practices in PowerShell
Additional know how in Symantec Enterprise Vault, Dell IDM, MS Active Directory Federation Service a plus
Typical Education and Work Experience required:
Qualified IT or IT-related education
At least 6 years of working experience in IT, thereof 3 years in respective subject areaProficiency in English (at least level B2/C1 in Council of Europe scale)
Comments (Optional):Excellent command in modern communication tools (telephone- and video conferencing)Know how in ITIL is a plus
