Implementation of all necessary operative tasks to guarantee maintenance of operation
Run applications, services, platforms and network to deliver promised service portfolio according SLAs
Ensure global IT support based on follow-the-sun organization as well as 24/7 on-call-duty

Requirements

Key Activities:
​Incident resolution, Incident management
Implementing changes, Change management
Installation of new versions, patches
Close customer contact during operative work
Supplier management for incident related communication
Documentation of all executed tasks in a ticket tool and CMDB
Proactive capacity and performance management of systems and system components
Support in planning and implementation of projects / new designs
Technical skills required: 3+ years of proven experience in Oracle Database operations/management: backup and restore, monitoring, maintenance (like: index and statistics maintenance, database reorg)
​​Profound experience in Oracle Data Guard and Database performance analysis & tuning (single instance, RAC)
Administrator level Linux knowledge
Additional DB knowhow (MSSQL, MySQL, Sybase) a plus
Skills and knowledge required:
Qualified IT or IT-related education
6+ years of IT experience, at least 3 of them with relevant technologies
Very good in English – both written and spoken
Cooperative and team oriented
