Manual QA Engineer (full-time, remote)

Sfera Studios is looking for a Manual QA Engineer to join our Engineering team building forward thinking web-based projects.

Primary Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a growing company, building things millions of people use everyday
Performing various types of testing such as regression, functional, defects checking, ad-hoc and exploratory, basic security testing, performance, touch and UI testing, etc.
Prepare test result analysis and reports.
Prepare usage tutorials for the end users
Communicating regularly with the team
Working in a stressful and fast changing environment with the high pace
Switching between various tasks during the day without affecting quality of the work results provided
Writing good and clear project documentation, guidelines and other test documentations, providing well looking bug reports to the development team and managers

Qualifications:

3+ years of software testing experience in big and high paced projects
IT/Computer Science degree
Experience in working with various test tools and bug trackers, such as JIRA, Bugzilla, Mantis, etc.
Experience in writing clear and understandable test documentation, such as test cases, test plans, test reports, etc.
Solid understanding of software development life-cycle and QA processes
Ability to apply various test techniques and methodologies
Ability to organize yourself and your working schedule efficiently, to work good both as a standalone unit and a team player
Technical set of mind coupled with common sense, goal focus, ambition, reliability, analytical mind and attention to details
Ability to work in a stressful and fast changing environment with the high pace
Ability to switching between various tasks during the day without affecting quality of the work results provided
Writing good and clear project documentation, guidelines and other test documentations, providing well-looking bug reports to the development team and managers
Good English skills (reading technical documentation, writing reports, verbal communication with the client and team members)
