In partnership with our client, an international company, we are currently looking for an experienced and motivated professional to step in the position of:


CHIEF ACCOUNTANT


The role:

- On the position of a Chief Accountant, you would be responsible for the complete and accurate recording of the business transactions in the accounting system.
- You will plan, organize, and manage the accounting and reporting activities of the company, supporting operational teams, and providing solutions to financial related issues.

Your main tasks will include:

- Manage all operational accounting issues;
- Ensure financial transactions are performed in compliance with company policies;
- Ensures accurate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses;
- Participates in the preparation and completion of annual tax returns;
- Support month-end and year-end close process according to local legislation, IFRS and applicable Group standards;
- Conduct monthly and annual financial reports;
- Responsible for VAT and other obligatory tax and statistical reporting;
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes;
- Takes part in the further implementation and development of an ERP system.

What you need:

- University degree in Accounting, Finance or related;
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Chief Accountant preferably of large-sized/international company;
- Knowledge and experience with Navision will be considered as a strong advantage;
- Excellent knowledge of IFRS and Bulgarian accounting standards;
- Ability to lead, motivate and develop people;
- Analytical, organizational and communication skills;
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Excel;
- Fluent English.
